Which price band will my freezer repair fall in?

Why does my freezer keep frosting over?
Because moisture is getting in faster than the defrost cycle clears it, or the defrost cycle has stopped working. A door or drawer left ajar, a torn gasket, a frozen drain tube and a failed defrost element are the usual causes. Clearing the ice without finding which one simply books the next visit.
Is an older built-in still worth repairing?
Often, yes. A 1990s built-in that fits its opening, with a sound cabinet, usually costs far less to repair than a comparable replacement plus the cabinetry work around it.
