Three bands cover most of the fresh-food side

Why the freezer can be fine while the fridge is not
The Classic and Designer use-and-care guides describe a Dual Refrigeration design, with a separate refrigerator system and freezer system, and give the combination units their own controls for each compartment. On those units a warm fridge beside or above a solid freezer is entirely possible. On side-by-side units the two compartments stand next to each other, so it is easy to compare them by hand before calling.
The same Classic guide gives 38°F as the refrigerator preset on combination units. If your panel shows something well above that, set it back and give the section a day before judging it.
Water under the crispers
Sub-Zero traces water or ice below the crisper drawers to frost on the back wall, or to a drain trough and tube along that wall blocked by food, standing water or ice. A trough you can see into is worth clearing. Ice that keeps coming back on the wall points towards the defrost band instead.
